New Times Internship Day #1 Part II: Monday, June 7, 2010. Worked 8:00 pm-1:00 am.

Tonight I finished up finding dates from the articles for the Rothstein timeline. My eyes were very tired and red, and my back and shoulders were aching from sitting in front of the computer for so long. However, I had to get this project done. Thus, I continued. I discovered an easier method for finding out which stories were worthy and which weren’t. I did this by looking at the titles and description. If the description had only one sentence about the Rothstein case, the article was not about Rothstein but had an advertisement featuring him, hence the short description. If the article had a more lengthy description, than the whole article was about him. This method aided me in getting the project done faster, yet I still stayed up late. Overall, tonight was tedious but rewarding when I realized I was done.
