New Times Internship Day #5: Monday, June 14, 2010. Worked 10:30 am-5:00 pm.

Today I finished up my project from last week. I found more pictures for more topics and learned how to save a picture from Adobe Flash Player. I was told to press “Alt” and “Print Screen” to copy the image. Then, I was told to open up the Paint program and press “Ctrl V”. After this, I edited the picture like I wanted to and then copied the new picture by pressing “Ctrl C”. To save the picture, I opened up a new window of the paint program and pressed “Ctrl V”, and “file”, then “save” on the toolbar. After completing my work, I attended the weekly copy meeting that is held every Monday. This time, we went to McDuffy’s, a restaurant nearby. In this meeting, we discussed weekly projects everyone was working on as well as talked about the vuvuzela horns that were played at the FIFA game and whether or not we approved of them. Overall, today was full of work and learning experience.
