WLRN Internship Day #11: Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Worked 10:00 am-5:00 pm.

Today was a rather relaxing day. I did less computer work and instead worked more on doing small errands for Mia since I finished all my work that was assigned to me last night (I always do, actually). I mailed out “doggy bandanas” for her for the television show Weird Florida, sent out a letter to the South Florida Library Archives, searched for a speech online, and spoke with her about the upcoming plans for the Martin Luther King program. Today was enjoyable, however – I had an opportunity to look at old pictures with Mia of the crew from the 1980s. By doing this, I found out that WLRN actually separated from Channel 2 in the 1960s and didn’t build their current building till the 1980s. Who would’ve thought?
