WLRN Internship Day #10: Monday, May 24, 2010. Worked 10:00 am-5:00 pm.

Today I did research for Mia in order to obtain information regarding the Martin Luther King program. By doing this, I discovered a new website that has archive material. I can use this website (which can be found when one types “Florida Photographic Collection” in Google.com) for future projects that I may do. However, one has to pay if one wants these photographs. I also was required to find the contact information of a professor and author of a book we need by the name of Dr. Marvin Dunn. By doing this, I found a website titled Intelius.com that provides contact information of whoever one wants to look up. Yet, Marvin Dunn is a very common name. Thus, the website provided numerous results. On the bright side, I have a new website that I can use if I need contact information. Hopefully I won’t get as many results when I do research! Overall, today was pleasant and, as always, informative.
